A few photos from Wschowa and surrounds ( #Poland )
I have just spent 3 days in Wschowa in the south west of Poland on a school exchange programme. Not the sort of place you might visit as a tourist from England but perhaps that makes it all the more interesting. Here are a few photos.
This small town boasts not only a Tesco but also a Lidl and a Netto. Is this why the town has so few shops? A reminder perhaps that “death by supermarket” isn’t purely a British problem.
The town Hall in sunlight,
and in the snow,
I like photos of trees. Here are two:
Fishing lake, smokery and cafe just outside Ochla
Sunset over iced-over lake between Ochla and Wschowa:
And finally to food:
cooked by staff and students at the school I was visiting.
